                Assistant Nurse Director of Surgical Services (new position)

Non Nicotine Hiring Policy

Hospital:                    Southeast Florida 350+ beds

Experience:             3-5 years progressive management exp. required

Education:              Registered Nurse – Florida licensed

BSN required; Masters preferred – CNOR preferred

Salary:                    $115K – $120K

Benefits:                 Comprehensive Package

Relocation:              $6,000

Comments:             35 FTEs in OR and 7 FTEs in Open Heart

Sterile Processing, PACU and Ambulatory Care have their own Managers that report directly to Director

Clinical background in operating room, trauma and heart

14 OR Suites            —   ACLS required

Approximately 8,000 annual procedures (includes hearts)

Open heart program (chest and stroke certified)

                              Need aggressive, but not arrogant candidate

Reports to Director of Surgical Services

                              Recent renovation
